Quick & Easy Gluten-Free Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mash the black beans in a large bowl.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Serve on gluten-free buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped cilantro or jalapeños.
  • If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
